Crafting a Vision: Building the Brand for Prophecy Games

Prophecy Games was in need of a cohesive brand identity—something beyond just our original basic logo. The goal was to build out our website and create a visual identity that would represent our studio with a full brand facelift. My role was to take the reins on this creative endeavor, developing the brand from the ground up. This was one of my early experiences working creatively, and I was initially unsure of how to convey my vision to an artist we had contracted for the final product. I was challenged learning how to effectively communicate my ideas, give constructive feedback, and create a brand identity.

Turning Ideas into Art:

To overcome these challenges, I gathered a variety of inspirational materials, created a storyboard, and collaborated closely with the artist to bring our brand vision to life. After multiple iterations, we finally landed on a piece of art that I believe perfectly captured the essence of Prophecy Games - To sail for new seas, to iterate, and to correct course when we need to. The positive feedback from both our art director and COO was a testament to the project's success. This project was a significant learning experience for me, teaching me how to work with outsourced artists, give critical feedback effectively, and drive a project to completion. It marked a pivotal moment in my career, solidifying my ability to manage creative processes and deliver a brand identity that represents the company's vision.
