Playing to Win: Launching Ultra Strikers into the Gaming Arena
Ultra Strikers, a 3v3 sports shooter, is gearing up for its big debut on PC and consoles, and the challenges are still clear—create a buzzworthy trailer, engage influencers, and build an eye-catching Steam page to capture the attention of sports and shooter fans worldwide. As the marketing specialist, I've been wearing many hats for this project; from directing, editing, and producing the trailer to creating and running paid media ads, orchestrating influencer campaigns, designing UI elements, and building the game’s website. With another tight timeline and no established IP to lean on, the pressure is on to deliver a polished product that could stand out in a crowded market.
Scoring Big with Creativity and Innovation:
The initial campaign was a strong success, with paid ads achieving a 26% view-through rate and securing an exclusive PR deal with IGN for the official announcement trailer. Our Twitch influencer campaign lowered cost-per-view by 52%, and I further improved the Python tool used to streamline email outreach, building our CRM to 46k+ influencers. Utilizing AI tools like Midjourney, I created high-quality assets in-game and developed the gameplay trailer.
